Our first trip together was a random, last moment, what the heck let's do it kind of trip. Mathew wanted to see the movie Oppenheimer on the iMax screen. The only tickets available were in Nashville, TN. He asked me how spontaneous I was, and I said, "Let's do it!" So we drove all the way to Nashville to see this movie at midnight! Of course that wasn't all we did. I never got to experience Nashville. So of course Mathew, being Mathew, made the most of our impromptu trip. We went to Lower Broadway and listened to all the country music. And the best part.... We ended the trip with Mathew taking me to coffee shop named Fido, then to Pancake Pantry and ending it at the BlueBird Cafe. Why is all of this relevant? It was my own mini Taylor Swift experience. Her favorite coffee shop, breakfast place, and the place she was founded in. I mean, come on!

Quick trip to Tybee Island while we were visiting Savannah, GA! We had some A-Mazing coconut shrimp right off the beach!

Coffee Fest! Mathew is a lover of all things coffee, so naturally this date was a no brainer.

Taco Fest! We ate so many tacos that night. Great date night!

This timeline is turning into me showing y'all how amazing and thoughtful my fiancé is and his amazing planning skills. Fall is by far my favorite season. And I always wanted to be with someone who wanted to experience fall with me (aka apple picking and pumpkin carving!) Mathew insisted that we go THIS day to pick apples and pumpkins together. You want to know what the best part of it was? HIGHLAND COWS!!! Another dream came true. We got to see and pet baby highland cows that day. Of course Mathew bought me a stuffed animal highland cow that is now proudly displayed in our new home!

Mathew took me to the Dominican Republic for the first time. Matt owns a condo here and it's his FAVORITE place to escape too, and I felt so lucky he wanted to share it with me. Little did I know, this is where Mathew would first tell me that he loves me!

While in the DR, Mathew surprised me with a special get away into the mountains. The view was ABSOLUTELY breath taking. Plus, we had a personal chef and the food was to die for. Here we are sipping coffee and taking in the view!

Have y'all figured out that we LOVE Christmas time? December of 2023 was packed full of "all things Christmas". Mathew of course planned a quick overnight trip to Frankenmuth, MI! Truly magical. We had the BEST cheese curds ever and some A-MAZING pizza too. The best part of it all? It snowed while we were there. I am marrying Buddy the Elf :)

The first time I had ever seen the Rockefeller Christmas tree! I remember crying tears of joy as I was in awe of it. Christmas in NYC is truly amazing and I am so happy Mathew made my dream come true! (And was already plotting for the next year!)

Random day off together and I had to capture this moment. Little did Mathew know he was getting a 2-for-1 special. Me and the brown dog. They sure do love each other!

Another weekend trip to Charleston, South Carolina. This is one of Mathew's favorite places! The food was absolutely delicious here (ever been to Vicious Biscuit? It will change your life). This was also the first time Perrin went to the beach in his little doggie life. He LOVED it!

Mathew attends Police Week in Washington D.C. ever year, and this year he graciously invited me to attend with him. Having never visted the capital before, I was excited about the opportunity. The trip was truly memorable, as he guided me through the city's significant landmarks while fostering a profound senes of respect and appreciation for every officer honored during the week. #blueline

Mathew took me to see Niagara Falls for the first time. Again, amazing adventure and it was truly breathtaking. He even planned a boat tour that took us into the falls. Additionally, we also went on a tour by foot where you could walk through part of the falls. Truly a life-time experience!

Pumpkin Patch date! We picked lots of pumpkins and they all looked cute outside our apartment together.

I said "Yes!" Didn't he do a great job?! He was very traditional. We never ring shopped. Mathew designed this ring himself and surprised me with it. I absolutely love it!

Can you tell I was surprised? Mathew planned all of this without me knowing. Rockefeller Center was doing pictures in front the tree and of course Matt being Matt saw a perfect opportunity to capture our moment. I was completely shocked!

The aftermath of getting engaged and calling everyone! Best moment of my life!

As if getting engaged wasn't enough....Mathew planned a Christmas Carriage ride through NYC! I mean, what girl doesn't dream of a Christmas Carriage ride? This was right after he proposed to me! I know, I know, I am spoiled :)

SOLD! With the help of my beloved "gym dad" who is honestly the BEST realtor you will ever encounter, we bought our brand new house together! An absolute dream come true!

A much needed get away to one of our favorite places. The Dominican Republic!

Reserved parking and one of the best spots to watch fireworks? Say less! Our second year watching fireworks together, while Matt keeps everyone safe!

We enjoyed watching the Cincinnati Reds for OPBA night. It was a great time to hang out with friends and enjoy some baseball. The fireworks that night after the ballgame were amazing as well!

We attended the Columbus AirShow for the first time, and it was amazing to see the Blue Angels fly! We had a great time learning all about military history!

Meet Anchovy Charles! The newest addition to our family!

Perrin and Anchovy were instant best friends and it melts our hearts how much they truly love each other. Best friends fuuuuurever!

Didn't Mathew do an A-MAZING job putting lights on our house?! Our first Christmas in our new home! Not me crying because my man put lights on our house and it reminded me of my childhood.

We lucked out for our engagement photo session. All of this snow definitely gave it the "Hallmark Movie" feel! We wanted to relive our engagement and love for Christmas through these photos. We are absolutely in love with them!
